How Voting Works

Officer elections + final Connors PTO meeting of the year

  • Show up June 9 at 8:30 AM, in person or online. Attendance is required to vote. Attendees must be registered by 8:40 AM in order to vote.
  • Candidate profiles are below.
  • You'll receive a link to an anonymous ballot during the meeting and have a short window to vote for 5 of the 6 candidates.
  • Results will be verified by a neutral parent volunteer from outside Connors.
  • No proxy votes. No absentee votes. If you're not in the room or on the Meet, you can't vote per the Connors PTO bylaws.

Why This Matters to You

The five people you elect will spend the next year deciding how Connors PTO dollars are spent, what events happen, how the school community gets supported, and how parents stay informed. Your vote shapes the experience your child has at Connors next year.

What You're Voting These Officers To Do

The Officer Role

The Connors PTO Executive Board is made up of 3 to 5 officers who serve a one-year term. There is no separate President, Treasurer, or Secretary. All officers share responsibility for running the PTO.

  • Oversee committees that plan and execute PTO events and fundraisers
  • Support student, staff, and school initiatives and special programming
  • Manage PTO communication channels
  • Collaborate with Connors administration on school projects

What Makes a Strong Officer

  • Integrity. Officers handle sensitive information and prioritize the school's best interest.
  • Professionalism. Officers represent the school. How they communicate reflects on Connors.
  • Follow-through. Officers show up and do the work.
  • Service to every Connors family. Officers welcome and represent every parent, every classroom, every background.

Why I want to be a Connors PTO Officer
As a Connors parent of 3 years, I care deeply about supporting our students, teachers, and school community. While I have not held a PTO leadership role, I bring experience leading teams, managing budgets, communications, events, and engagement programs through my work as a Director in quantitative finance, site lead of my company's engagement committee, and certified yoga teacher. I believe PTO leadership benefits from both institutional knowledge and fresh perspectives.

Why I want to be a Connors PTO Officer
Last year, as a K parent, I attended every PTO meeting, served as PTOL, and volunteered at events. These experiences gave me valuable insight into how the PTO fosters engagement among students, families, and staff at Connors and inspired me to become more involved. As a PTO Officer this year, I have gained a deeper understanding of the PTO's work and the breadth of its impact. I hope to leverage this knowledge to continue building a positive, connected, and supportive school community next year.

Why I want to be a Connors PTO Officer
I want to continue building on the work we've started. The goal is a PTO that runs well in the background so parents can focus on showing up for their kids. This past year, our finances moved to modern tools so every donation was tracked clearly against our spending. We also successfully launched meeting highlights to better keep parents in the loop. My goal for '26–'27 is building out connorspto.com, where every parent will have a clear place to go to stay informed and engaged.
